Run Ios App On Macbook Pro
Are the Pages and Numbers apps that I originally bought on iTunes for iPad for $9.99 each transferrable to or able to run on 2011 MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.5? The mac app store wants $19.99 each to download. I thought the new operating system was supposed to run the iPhone and iPad apps. My Mac shows the apps in iCloud drive but only opens them in preview. Any way to run these without paying twice for the same app, also curious what apps other people are using in place of these. I use them mostly for basic lists or to open word/excel docs. Thanks.

Chief among these is the ability to natively run iOS and iPadOS apps on a macOS system. IPhone and iPad Apps Are Coming to the Mac Apple is already producing its own processors for the iPhone, iPad, and most of its non-Mac lineup (including the Apple TV, HomePod, and Apple Watch). Until Apple rolls out more iOS apps for macOS, the second best thing you can do is simulate them. IPadian is the most popular software for doing this. It’s a great simulator that lets you run very close approximations of iOS apps and games on a Mac. The untrained eye might not even notice the difference, as the apps are so well-simulated.
